“ And they’re off! ” CanCham Networking Night at the Races

A ‘galloping’ good time was had by all those who attended CanCham’s annual Networking Night at the Races held at the Singapore Turf Club. Billed as one of the favourite social staples of the CanCham calendar year, this year did not disappoint with attendees from all of the Canadian 5 Pillars in Singapore thronging the Club’s Casuarina Room. Karen Eidsvik from Subway Systems, and our CanCham representative for the night, warmly welcomed everyone and was our entertaining and gracious host for the evening. With free flow beer from our kind and generous supporters at Brewkerz and a delicious buffet dinner, guests enjoyed a fun-filled night with more than a few lucky punters, including the GFI Group table that won the table race due to someone’s very lucky numbers!! Thanks must also go to our other kind supporters, Comfort Delgro and Moosehead Beer for our door gifts and all-important beer for the bus!!

Inter-Chamber SuperNetworking Night: The Roaring 1920s hosted by AmCham

This joint Chamber event hosted by AmCham turned out to be a ‘flappertastic’ event! With 11 Chambers involved in the event, the Regent Singapore’s Ballroom was soon buzzing with people. AmCham were gracious hosts and made sure everyone was well fed, watered and entertained with competitions for the best dancers and best dressed folks. All in all a great night of networking was had by all.

Power Lunch Series event with Neo Seow Ping of the Health Promotion Board and Cheryl Ho of Pratt & Whitney Canada “The Greatest Wealth is Health: Grants for Health Promotion in the Workplace” held in the Mapleleaf Boardroom, The Canadian High Commission.
