Canpotex International Pte Limited

Canpotex is the world’s largest potash exporter – an international marketing and distribution company wholly-owned by the Saskatchewan potash producers: Agrium Inc, IMC Canada Ltd, and Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan Inc.

Operating since 1972, Canpotex was established to market Saskatchewan potash competitively to offshore markets, principally to countries in Asia, Oceania, Latin America, Europe and Africa. Canpotex sales are currently in the range of 5-6 million metric tons a year.

A Singapore-based subsidiary, Canpotex International Pte Limited, directs the company’s marketing activities worldwide and maintains exclusive representation in most markets. Subsidiary offices in Hong Kong and Tokyo maintain direct contact with large contract buyers.

A corporate office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is responsible for all Operations functions (including Inland Transportation and Ocean Transportation), and for Finance and Administration functions. A subsidiary office in Vancouver, British Columbia, handles load port services at Canpotex terminals.
