Join us for the Brookfield Women’s Network Asia Fireside Chat with Her Excellency Ms Lynn McDonald, High Commissioner of Canada to Singapore.

In collaboration with the High Commission of Canada in Singapore and the Brookfield Women's Network Asia, we are delighted to host Her Excellency Lynn McDonald, High Commissioner of Canada to Singapore, to share her views on gender equality as well as diversity and inclusion.

After a diplomatic career in foreign affairs and international trade, Ms. McDonald became Consul and Senior Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong and Macao in 2014, before being appointed as High Commissioner to Singapore in 2016. In our fireside chat, Her Excellency will share her thoughts on the challenges that female leaders face in Asia, and how to overcome these challenges. She will also share her views on how Canadian companies have managed to top international polls on workplace diversity and inclusion practices (Kantar’s Inclusion Index 2019), and discuss key learnings and approaches to making workplaces more inclusive.

We are also delighted to have Ms. Caroline Berube, Managing Partner, HJM Asia Law Co. LLC, present opening remarks on behalf of CanCham, and look forward to welcoming CanCham Members and associated corporations for what promises to be an insightful conversation.
