2021 was the year of NFTs (US$40B, Bloomberg) and the emergence of the Metaverse into mainstream consciousness. VCs invested over US$30B (Business Insider) into Blockchain and Web 3.0 applications which are beginning to gain wide adoption, heralding a new age of disruption to the internet.
