CanCham was proud to be a supporting partner of the 4th CABC Business Forum held in Singapore, at the Shangri-la Hotel. On day 1, CABC kicked off the event with a Women’s Leadership Forum titled ” Women’s Leadership – Transforming Business”.
The morning begin with opening addresses from Ms. Karen Cvornyek, President & Regional Managing Principal, Asia at B+H Architects and Women’s Leadership Forum Chair, followed by a welcome address from H.E. Lynn McDonald, High Commissioner at High Commission of Canada in Singapore. The day progressed with great lineup of inspiring women speakers.
Day 1 concluded with a world cafe where CanCham Directors, Franca Ciambella and Marlene Han hosted tables. Day 2 of the forum was titled, “Canada and ASEAN – Accelerating the Partnership”, featuring keynote addresses from Guest of Honour, Minister S. Iswaran, Ministry of Trade and Industry (Industry) of Singapore, The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of International Trade of Canada and H.E Dato Lim Jock Hoi, Secretary-General of ASEAN. The day saw fruitful discussions on Canada-ASEAN relations and by the afternoon had moved on to intimate breakout panel discussions. Several CanCham Executive Committee Members were speakers in these breakout sessions.
It was a wonderful two days filled with high quality business conversations and networking. Congrats to Wayne Farmer, Greg Ross and the CABC team!
