CanCham Singapore was pleased to host its annual Canada Back to Business 2021, Canada's largest networking night of the year! We had a wonderful showing of participants from the Canada-Singapore business community! For many, it was their first opportunity to meet our NEW High Commissioner of Canada to Singapore, His Excellency Jean-Dominique Ieraci. The event opened with welcome remarks from CanCham Singapore's President, Ms. Caroline Berube, Managing Partner, HJM Asia Law & Co., where she shared some of CanCham's initiatives for the coming year and introduced our CanCham Executive Committee for the 2021-2022 Membership year. This was followed by remarks from High Commissioner Ieraci, where he took this opportunity to introduce himself, share some of his agenda items and introduce members of his Trade Team and Provincial offices located in Singapore. Finally, Ms. Berube took some time to ask our High Commissioner a few questions, where event participants were able to learn more about our High Commissioner and get know his personality. The event concluded with an option to network in the networking lounge or join the speed networking. High Commissioner Ieraci enthusiastically participated in speed networking, which provided participants with an opportunity to have a one on one time with our High Commissioner!
