Canada Back to Business 2023: A Night to Remember!

The Canada Back to Business 2023, held on September 14th at The American Club's Galbraith Ballroom, was nothing short of spectacular. As Canada's premier networking night in Singapore, the event lived up to, and even surpassed, its already high expectations.

The room was abuzz with spirited conversations, fresh perspectives, and most notably, new faces who brought a refreshing energy, symbolizing the continuous growth and integration of the Canada-Singapore business community.

The evening was kickstarted with a compelling opening speech by CanCham Vice President, Kamran Azim, COO of RBC Wealth Management, Asia. His words set the stage, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and community in these evolving times. Following him, Mr. Randall Quinn, CanCham's new President, set the tone for the evening with his invigorating speech on CanCham’s vision. Brenda Wills, Senior Trade Commissioner at the High Commission of Canada, complemented this by presenting a roadmap of collaborative initiatives to further fortify the Canada-Singapore partnership.

The evening wouldn't have been as engaging without the lively interactions, the clinking of glasses, and the shared laughter. Attendees enjoyed a delightful spread of buffet canapés and indulged in free-flow wine, all in the plush settings of The American Club.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our main event sponsor, Royal Bank of Canada, for their unwavering support. A big shoutout also goes to our event partners: Canadian International School, One World International School Singapore, and NUS Business School, National University of Singapore. Their involvement was crucial to the event's outstanding success.

But what's an event without some thrilling moments? The lucky draw segment, with attractive prizes courtesy of Else Hotel, LinHart Group, and The American Club, was a hit and had everyone on the edge of their seats.

In essence, Canada Back to Business 2023 was more than just a networking event—it was a celebration of community, collaboration, and the unyielding spirit of the Canada-Singapore relationship. We're already buzzing with excitement for the next edition. Here's to more such memorable nights!
