This year CanCham celebrated its 13th Annual Canada Night at the Races event, at the Singapore Turf Club. We are delighted with the amount of support this event receives annually from the Canadian and Friends of Canada community in Singapore. Once again, we had a full house!
This year, part of the proceeds were donated to the The Terry Fox Foundation, thanks to the Canadian Association of Singapore. We set up a “Loonie Toss” game, which was very well received! All money raised will be donated to the Terry Fox Foundation. Everyone was raving about this year’s Canadian buffet thanks to Francis Chan, Trade Commissioner, High Commission of Canada in Singapore and Chef Steve, Long Jiang Culinary! Of course, our event would not be complete without the support of our free flow Red Racer beer from Canadian Craft Beer and wine from BottlesXO! We also had a silent and live auction thanks to Eastern Carpets and wrapped up the night with a fantastic lucky draw! Once again, we are deeply indebted and beyond grateful, to have our very own in-house MC, CanCham Director, Brian Tracey. Brian has been emceeing our race event for over 10 years! Thank you Brian!
