CanCham Cryptocurrency Dialogue

L to R: Pavel Bains, CEO, Bluzelle; Franca Ciambella, Managing Director, Consilium Law Corporation; Justin Chow, Head of Singapore

CanCham in partnership with the The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, hosted its CanCham Cryptocurrency Dialogue. Guests were treated to a fascinating fireside chat with Justin Chow, Head of Singapore for Cumberland – a DRW Company. He spoke about the cryptocurrency market and described it as being in its second baseball inning, with innings 4-7 (mainstream market) as being about 5 years away. We appreciated Justin’s many analogies, helping to clarify what might have been confusing to the average person. This was followed by a legal regulatory briefing provided by Franca Ciambella, Managing Director of Consilium Law Corporation and concluded with a dialogue featuring Pavel Bains, CEO of Bluzelle. Pavel explained the differences between a utility coin and security tokens and why companies like Bluzelle require a utility coin. He also shed some light on why many companies from Canada are choosing to keep their R&D in Canada, while setting up and doing their raises in Singapore. It was a very thought provoking evening! Thank you to Franca for being our moderator for the evening and thank you to Cumberland – a DRW Company for sponsoring the event. We would like to say a special thank you to Vin Republic for providing us with fabulous bespoke cocktails and food all evening!
