CanCham Singapore hosted its first inaugural CIS Friends of Canada Golf Tournament, at Champions Public Golf Course.
It was an all Canadian event complete with Canadian Craft beer upon registration; four novelty holes: Beat the CanCham ExCo (hole 3), raising money for the Terry Fox Foundation and serving up shots of tequila to the losers, Long Drive (hole 4), Nearest to the Line (hole 6) and Nearest to the Pin (hole 7); followed by a BBQ at the Picotin restaurant.
There were nine flights consisting of teams from Canadian corporates: Canadian International School, Canpotex, Export Development Canada, RBC Wealth Management and Champions Golf. The golf tournament followed a nine-hole Texas Scramble format with the Red Devils (CIS) winning 2nd runner up, followed by Canpotex, as 1st runner up.
Congratulations to the winning team! The Green Devils (CIS): Jon Naylor, Josh Scott, Mike Warford and Scott Little. These guys had big smiles on their faces as they took home the CanCham CIS Friends of Canada Cup!
