CPTPP: How does it impact your business

Updated: Aug 7

CanCham in partnership with High Commission of Canada in Singapore and the Singapore Business Federation hosted its much anticipated event - CPTPP: How does it impact your business? We had an exceptional group of guest speakers and panelists including: Jay Allen, Executive Director, Trade Policy Negotiations - Asia, Global Affairs Canada; Dr. Deborah Elms, Executive Director, Asian Trade Centre; Elizabeth Chelliah, Principal Trade Specialist, Ministry of Trade & Industry and Locknie Hsu, Professor of Law, SMU School of Law. The panel was moderated by H.E. Lynn McDonald, High Commissioner of Canada to Singapore. If you weren't present at the webinar the one overarching messages that prevailed throughout was if you're not using the CPTPP, you are not creating a competitive advantage through market access for your firm! It doesn't matter if you are a big company or an SME, you should be looking into utilising this very broad agreement with an unprecedented scope!

If you missed this very informative webinar, or you would like to view it again, you may visit our CPTPP Resource page for the recording, slides and key takeaways from this webinar!
