CanCham Singapore in partnership with Canadian Alumni Network Singapore hosted the Networking in the New Normal webinar, using the Airmeet platform. The event kicked off with welcome remarks from CanCham President, Caroline Berube, Managing Partner at HJM Asia Law & Co. It was a fantastic event with a great line-up of speakers including Jonathan Kwan, Executive Director of the South East Asian Association of Graduate Employers, who provided participants with some wonderful insights on the art of small talk and some key tips on "how to break the ice". This was followed by a presentation from Silke Prodinger-Leong, Team Lead, Sr. Customer Success Manager – APAC, LinkedIn, who provided participants with five key tips on how to "Rock Your Profile", while creating an impact on LinkedIn. Finally, Huijin Kong, Principal at LinHart Group, explained how participants can make a strong impression in short amount of time. A common theme across all speakers was being truly genuine and coming across in an authentic manner. Our event ended with an opportunity for participants to network in our networking lounge. Not only was it an educational experience but it was a pleasant experience connecting with one another after not being able to meet face-to-face for such a long time!
